Early Life

Born and raised in South Africa, Johannesburg, I was surrounded by sports and activities that kept me active, as well as helped me to develop a certain level of attributes. After moving to Canada, I had a keen interest in sports & martial arts that I never knew existed, which are now to this day played and practiced all over the world. This led me to following a path that would eventually be my purpose in life.

 

Martial Arts & Personal Training

Through my martial arts training, I was given the privilege and opportunity to become the best martial artist that I can be; to inspire and be inspired by others. As a child I started taking Shotokan Karate. When my family and I decided to move to Canada, I had eventually gotten back into taking martial arts, and was introduced to Tae Kwon Do. After training for quite some time in Tae Kwon Do, I had explored various martial arts of which I practice that suits my form of expression. I have learnt and taught different aspects of martial arts, such as authentic combat, performing martial arts, and competitive sport training. Consequently, the experience that I gained from martial arts has aided me to continuously become a better martial artist, teacher, and human being. In this point of time, I strive to discover spiritual insight; to understand the true meaning behind martial arts & its philosophy in order to teach it through mental and physical training.

Advocating highly in physical training, the dynamics of martial arts training has also led me to explore the human body.  I became interested in understanding how the body works by knowing and surpassing its limitations. Having experience in martial arts, weight training, body-weight training, strength conditioning, and circuit training, fitness is a priority when it comes to maintaining a life of physical health, wellness, and longevity. Thus, being a personal trainer it is my passion to reveal peoples’ true potential and exceed their expectations reaching beyond their limits by living a healthy lifestyle.
